These wheels are usable for low temperature melting metals as: Tin, Lead, Silver Zamac, etc…

They can also be used for harder metals such as : Bronze, Copper, etc…

Principle Use :

When you use this wheel its capacity is at 40%, it’s after 2 to 3 minutes use that the capacity becomes 100% efficient.

Explanation: These wheels are used with materials : No1: Abrasive Fiber and No 2: Abrasive Cloth.

At the beginning of use the length of No 1 & No 2 are equal, after few minutes, you will notice that the No 2 is longer than No 1,( which is normal).

The participation of No 1 is minimal, it’s role is to be used as a vibration absorber with No 2, which will give you a smooth polishing without scratches, but abrasive during the removal of smudges even on hard metals.

Recommendation : we recommend the S/A  type for soft metal such as tin , lead, Silver, etc…, for stronger metals, the S/M type will be more efficient.

PS : (the S/A type is efficient on silver, however some customers rather use the S/M type for this metal…)

The S/T wheel is only produced with fine grit : 400 & 600, this wheel will be a perfect tool for polishers that desire an abrasive wheel without almost any scratches on the polished surface.

 These wheels are used as is, without water of polishing paste.
